Points-based calculator - reduced service.......
  • .UKBA Current Proposition on Immigration Rule Recent Immigration News :-  UKBA Current Proposition on Immigration Rule : 06 April 2011:- Until summer 2011, the UK Border Agency's points-based calculator is offering only a reduced service for migrant applicants who want to check whether they will pass their points assessment.


    The calculator will continue to fully support self-assessment for the following categories:

    ■Tier 1 (General) in-country extension
    ■Tier 1 (Post-study work)
    ■Tier 2 (Minister of religion)
    ■Tier 2 (Sportsperson)
    However, you can carry out only a partial self-assessment in the following categories:

    ■Tier 1 (Entrepreneur)
    ■Tier 1 (Investor)
    ■Tier 2 (General)
    ■Tier 2 (Intra company transfer)
    The calculator does not support any self-assessment for Tier 4 (General) and Tier 4 (Child) applicants.

    We advise you to read the relevant policy guidance in order to assess whether you meet the requirements to score points.
