UK WORK VISA OPPORTUNITY

FOR RECENT GRADUATES FROM OVERSEAS WHO ARE APPLYING FOR WORK PERMITS IN THE UK.

To apply for this visa, eligible candidates do not need to receive an employment offer from a UK business.

Despite UK government plans to crackdown on overseas students’ recruitment abuse by foreign agents, it is to be noted that the current UK government has recently announced that, subject to further assessment, it will maintain the graduate work visa pathway in its current form for international students.

See below

The government notes that the pathway mostly fulfilled the initial goals put forth by the UK government.

Launched in July 2021 as an unsponsored visa route, the UK Graduate route (formerly known as the Post Study Work visa) permits international students to remain in the UK and work in most jobs or hunt for employment.

The route aims to draw in talented people. Employers in the UK are able to hire new graduates with this visa without needing to fulfil the financial or legal prerequisites for employment sponsorship.

Notably, 66,000 visas were issued during the program's first full year of operation in 2022, and 144,000 last year.

1.26 million travels were made in the previous year. This was slightly less than the 1.28 million in 2022, but it was 76% greater than in 2021 when travel was still restricted because to the COVID-19 epidemic.

The majority of foreign migrants' journeys to the UK begin with stops for employment or education. In the past, yearly research routes accounted for around half of all new journeys; in 2022 and 2023, this percentage fell to 42% and 43%, correspondingly.

Graduates residing in the UK on a graduate visa do not need to be sponsored by an educational institution or an employer, nor do they require a Certificate of Sponsorship.
